SHIRTLESS GUYS AND TOPLESS GIRLS; MUSICAL GUEST "THE LIKE" PERFORM - New parents Jen (guest star Sara Foster) and Ryan (Ryan Eggold) find out about Naomi's (AnnaLynne McCord) rape and Jen decides to take matters into her own hands.  Ryan encourages Naomi to come forward even though his own job may be in jeopardy.  Victor (guest star Nestor Serrano) arranges a photo shoot for Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and instructs her to go topless, while Navid (Michael Steger) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) watch in shock.  Annie (Shenae Grimes) discovers that Charlie (guest star Evan Ross) has a dark and disturbing side when she sneaks in to observe a staged reading of his play.  Liam (Matt Lanter) lands a job working shirtless in the window and on the sales floor of a clothing store.  A mysterious customer offers him an opportunity he can't refuse.  Dixon (Tristan Wilds) apologizes to Ivy (Gillian Zinser) for breaking up with her but doesn't realize that Ivy decided to lose her virginity to someone else.  Oscar (guest star Blair Redford) confronts Laurel (guest star Kelly Lynch) and Ivy with shocking news about his past.  Trevor Donovan also stars.  Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by David S. TIM GUNN GUEST STARS / JENNY'S (TAYLOR MOMSEN) BACK! - Although Blair (Leighton Meester) made it perfectly clear that Little J was no longer welcome in Manhattan after what happened with Chuck (Ed Westwick), Jenny (Taylor Momsen) is tempted by a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Tim Gunn ("Project Runway"), which could be a game changer for her future.  Meanwhile, Serena (Blake Likely) discovers something about her new boyfriend, Colin (guest star Sam Page), that may put an end to their relationship just as it was getting good.  Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star.  Lee Shallat Chemel directed the episode written by Jake Coburn (#406).

CLAY AND QUINN'S LIVES HANG IN THE BALANCE - As the gang returns from Utah, Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian (Austin Nichols) are engaged, Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) learns that she is pregnant, Nathan (James Lafferty) must leave for training camp, and Clay (Rob Buckley) and Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) are assaulted and shot by Katie (guest star Amanda Schull).  Jackson Brundage also stars.  The episode was written and directed by Mark Schwahn (#801).

THINGS ARE HEATING UP IN PORTLAND FOR SEASON TWO OF THE CW'S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED SOPHOMORE SERIES! - Cate (Shiri Appleby) and Ryan (Kerr Smith) return from their honeymoon only to discover that major changes have been made at the radio station in their absence.  A very confused Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) struggles with his feelings for Cate, and ends up hooking up with the hot new bartender, Paige (guest star Arielle Kebbel, "The Vampire Diaries"), at his bar.  Meanwhile, Lux (Britt Robertson) and Bug (guest star Rafi Gavron) find themselves at a major crossroads in their relationship.  Shaun Sipos ("Melrose Place") guest stars as Eric, a newcomer to Portland who befriends Lux.  Austin Basis also stars.  Executive producer Gary Fleder directed the episode written by executive producer Liz Tigelaar and Sallie Patrick (#201).

ZAC POSEN IS THE GUEST JUDGE - Designer Zac Posen surprises the girls at their beach house to inform them they will be wearing his fall 2010 collection during this week's runway challenge.  The girls put their personality to the test when they shoot their very first commercial while wearing roller skates on the beach.  Posen is also this week's guest judge (#1508).

IT'S DATE NIGHT WITH THE HELLCATS - Desperate to raise funds to get them to Nationals, the Hellcats plan a date auction.  However, things take a unexpected turn after Savannah's (Ashley Tisdale) old boyfriend Noah (guest star) shows up and outbids Dan (Matt Barr), Morgan wins a date with a horrified Marti (Aly Michalka) and Vanessa (Sharon Leal) is bid on by a mystery man whom she suspects is Red (Jeff Hephner) trying to win her back.  Vanessa frets over whether to tell Derrick (D.B. Woodside) about the date as the money will cover the trip to Nationals for the Hellcats.  Meanwhile, Lewis (Robbie Jones) continues to keep a secret from the team.  Heather Hemmens also stars.  John Dahl directed the episode written by Jennifer Schuur (#107).

DEATH AT THE MASQUERADE BALL - Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) decide on a new plan to deal with Katherine (Nina Dobrev) at the Lockwood's masquerade ball.  Katherine calls on an old friend, Lucy (guest star Natashia Williams), to attend the ball with her.  Bonnie (Katerina Graham), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Alaric (Matt Davis) all do what they can to help Stefan and Damon, but Katherine has a surprise planned that none of them could foresee.  Things take an ugly turn when Matt (Zach Roerig) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) start doing shots with their friends.  Sarah Canning also stars.  Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec (#207).

SUICIDE BOMBINGS - Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) informs Nikita (Maggie Q) that one of the recruits has been activated to carry out a suicide mission.  Nikita intercepts the recruit just as Michael (Shane West) arrives, and the two sides exchange gunfire.  Meanwhile, back inside the walls of Division, another recruit decides to attack several guards, creating mass chaos.  Xander Berkeley, Aaron Stanford, Melinda Clarke, Ashton Holmes and Tiffany Hines also star.  Eagle Egilsson directed the episode written by Amanda Segel (#107).

CLARK TRIES TO KEEP LOIS SAFE - Clark (Tom Welling) is concerned about Lois' (Erica Durance) safety so he diverts her away from covering the Vigilante Registrations Act by suggesting she cover another story. After he comes clean with her, an angry Lois tells him that she can take care of herself, but when a flat tire strands their car in the middle of nowhere, their plans take a turn for the worse and Lois ends up in serious danger.  Meanwhile, Tess (Cassidy Freeman) searches for a cure for Alexander (guest star Connor Stanhope), who is rapidly aging. Christopher Petry directed the episode written by Al Septian & Turi Meyer (#3X6007).

"You Can't Handle the Truth" (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

 

THE TRUTH HURTS - Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a series of suicides and discover the victims were being told brutal truths that drove them crazy.  They find out someone is invoking the Goddess of Truth, Veritas, forcing people to be cruelly honest against their will and Dean is the next victim.  Dean is forced to tell Sam the truth about how he feels about his return from Hell.   Rod Hardy directed the episode written by Eric Charmelo & Nicole Snyder with story by David Reed, Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder (#605).
