A BEVERLY HILLS BABY IS BORN - Silver (Jessica Stroup), Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) craft a plan to seduce Mr. Cannon (guest star Hal Ozsan) and prove that he raped Naomi, but they underestimate his ability to control the situation.  Teddy (Trevor Donovan) and Ian (guest star Kyle Riabko) are forced to do manual labor as punishment for fighting.  Dixon (Tristan Wilds) fears for his life and pushes Ivy (Gillian Zinser) away, leading her straight into the arms of Oscar (guest star Blair Redford).  A pregnant Jen (guest star Sara Foster) seeks to hire a new assistant and Debbie (Lori Loughlin) applies for the job.  Michael Steger, Ryan Eggold and Matt Lanter also star.  Jim Conway directed the episode written by Terrence Coli (305).

A GOSSIP GIRL BLAST STRIKES OUT AGAINST SERENA - An anonymous Gossip Girl blast starts a very damaging rumor about one of Columbia's new students, Serena (Blake Lively).  On her path to greatness, Blair (Leighton Meester) decides to take a class with a powerful businesswoman, Martha (guest star Marilyne Barrett), who is guest-lecturing at Columbia, but a mysterious fellow student thwarts her plans to secure the prized position as Martha's assistant.  Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star.  Jeremiah Chechik directed the episode written by Robby Hull (#405).

EPISODE DIRECTED BY JAMES LAFFERTY - As Clay (Robert Buckley) is discharged from the hospital, Nathan (James Lafferty) contemplates walking away from the NBA.  Meanwhile, Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Victoria (guest star Daphne Zuniga) disagree on how to handle the company's financial problems, and Chase (guest star Stephen Coletti) discovers a secret about Alex (guest star Jana Kramer).  Bethany Joy Galeotti, Shantel VanSanten and Jackson Brundage also star.  The episode was written by Mark Schwahn, and directed by James Lafferty (#805).

"ONE TREE HILL" PAYS A VISIT TO "LIFE UNEXPECTED" / MUSICAL PERFORMANCES BY GRAMMY AWARD-WINNER SARAH MCLACHLAN, BEN LEE, RAIN PERRY AND "ONE TREE HILL'S" BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI AND KATE VOEGELE - This crossover episode of "Life Unexpected" brings "One Tree Hill" characters Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and Mia (Kate Voegele) to a music festival, sponsored by a Portland radio station and hosted by Ryan (Kerr Smith).  At the concert, Haley and Cate (Shiri Appleby) meet and discover that they have incredibly similar pasts.  It turns out that both women were somewhat nerdy, overachieving teenagers who got pregnant in high school by athletes named Nate (or Nathan).  And when a secret of Cate's gets outed, Cate turns to Haley for advice.  Additionally, in the episode, Grammy-Award winner Sarah McLachlan performs her new single "Forgiveness."  Additional musical performances include "One Tree Hill" series star Galeotti and recurring guest star Voegele, along with Ben Lee and Rain Perry (singer/songwriter of the "Life Unexpected" theme song).  Jerry Levine directed the episode written by Deidre Shaw (#205).

LEGENDARY PHOTOGRAPHER PATRICK DEMARCHELIER IS THE GUEST JUDGE - The girls head to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills for this week's photo shoot with legendary fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier.  The girls are joined by maa male model as they strut down Rodeo while posing in clothing hand-picked for them by fashion stylist Lori Goldstein.  Demarchelier joins the judges at the elimination panel (#1506).

IT'S THE HELLCATS VS. THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM AND THINGS GET MESSY - The girls's volleyball team challenges the Hellcats to a flag-football game.  Lewis (Robbie Jones) coaches the Hellcats and Red (Jeff Hephner) is impressed by his plays.  Marti (Aly Michalka) pretends to be sick so she can skip the game and attend a conference with Julian (Gale Harold).  Alice (Heather Hemmens) wants to cheat to win but Savannah (Ashley Tisdale) refuses, putting the girls at odds once again.  Sharon Leal and Matt Barr also star.  Kevin Fair directed the episode written by James Eagan (#106).

KATHERINE HAS RETURNED WITH A VENGEANCE - Picking up on the same night as last season's finale, Elena (Nina Dobrev) arrives home to a nightmare as she discovers Uncle John's and Jeremy's fate.  At the hospital, Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacIntyre) is comforted by Matt (Zach Roering), Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) while she waits to hear if Caroline (Candice Accola) will survive the car accident.  After a confusing conversation with Elena about the night's events, Damon is the first to realize that Katherine (also played by Nina Dobrev) has returned.  Katherine's arrival sends Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon on a path to find out what she wants, why she's back, and how much of a threat she is to the people they love.  Meanwhile, still reeling from his father's death, Tyler (Michael Trevino) is surprised when his charming and mysterious uncle, Mason Lockwood (guest star Taylor Kinney, "Trauma"), arrives to console the family.  Sara Canning also stars. SERIES PREMIERE OF THE NEW ACTION DRAMA STARRING MAGGIE Q AS NIKITA - When she was a deeply troubled teenager, Nikita (Maggie Q, "Mission Impossible III") was rescued from death row by a secret U.S. agency known only as Division, who trained her as a spy and assassin.  Nikita was eventually betrayed by the only people she thought she could trust.  Now, after three years in hiding, Nikita is seeking retribution and making it clear to her former boss, Percy (Xander Berkeley, "24") and her former friends Michael (Shane West, "E.R.") and Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford, "X-Men: The Last Stand) that she will stop at nothing to expose and destroy their covert operation.  Division continues to recruit and train other young people, among them Jaden (Tiffany Hines, "Bones") and Thom (Ashton Holmes, "Boston Legal"), erasing all evidence of their former lives and turning them into cold and efficient killers.  One of these new recruits, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca, "Kick-Ass") is a beautiful girl with a violent past and a story not so different from Nikita's.   The recruits all spend part of their training with Amanda (Melinda Clarke, "The O.C."), a master manipulator who can turn any ugly duckling into a swan and any bleeding heart into a killer.  Danny Cannon directed the pilot written by Craig Silverstein.

A RECORD-BREAKING EVENT!  SMALLVILLE HITS 200 EPISODES AND BRINGS BACK FAMILIAR FACES LIKE JAMES MARSTERS AS BRAINIAC - In an attempt to cheer up Clark (Tom Welling), Lois (Erica Durance) convinces him to attend their five-year high school reunion.  A visit back to the home of the Crows has Clark remembering old times with Lana (Kristin Kreuk) and Chloe (Allison Mack), while Losi is furious that no one remembers her five days as a student.  Brainiac 5.0 (James Marsters) uses his Legion ring to visit from the future and takes Clark through his past, present and future.  He shows Clark what really happened the night Jonathan died, Oliver's (Justin Hartley's) current pain and Clark's future at the Daily Planet with Lois and his role as Earth's favorite red and blue superhero.  Jeannot Szwarc directed the episode written by Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders (#3X6004).

JENSEN ACKLES' DIRECTORIAL DEBUT - After Bobby (Jim Beaver) discovers Crowley (Mark Sheppard) has no intentions of returning Bobby's soul, the hunter takes matters into his own hands.  He calls on Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help after he unearths one of Crowley's deepest secrets.  Meanwhile, Sam and Dean learn what Bobby does all day when they are not around.  Jensen Ackles directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin (#604).
