BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI DIRECTS THE EPISODE - Nathan (James Lafferty) tries to help Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and Jamie (Jackson Brundage) confront Lydia's (guest star Bess Armstrong) seemingly hopeless situation, while Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian (Austin Nichols) navigate their volatile relationship in the midst of a hectic movie shoot.  Meanwhile, Clay (Robert Buckley) and Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) spend some time apart, and Miranda (guest star India De Beaufort) tries to prove to Grubbs (guest star Michael Grubbs of the band Wakey!Wakey!) that she's the right person to produce his album.  Lee Norris, Lisa Goldstein and Jana Kramer also star.  Bethany Joy Galeotti directed the episode written by John A. LUX THROWS A PARTY IN BAZE'S LOFT - Off to a rocky start at her new school, Lux (Britt Robertson) offers to throw a party in Baze's (Kristoffer Polaha) loft in an effort to impress the high school quarterback, Jones (guest star Austin Butler), and his friends.  Cate (Shiri Appleby) worries that her relationship with Lux will never measure up to the bond Lux has so easily made with Baze.   Austin Basis and Kerr Smith also star.  Alan Arkush directed the episode written by Adele Lim. A DEATH IN THE ZIP CODE - Although she is conflicted about whether or not she can forgive her mother for all the pain she has caused, Kelly (Jennie Garth) continues to support Silver (Jessica Stroup) as she deals with Jackie's (guest star Ann Gillespie) declining health.  Navid (Michael Steger) confronts Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) about her drug use.  Harry (Rob Estes) and Debbie (Lori Loughlin) are surprised when Annie (Shenae Grimes) informs them she would like to invite Jasper (guest star Zach Sherman) over for dinner.  Dixon (Tristan Wilds), still upset with Debbie over her handling of the Sasha (guest star Mekia Cox, who does not appear in the episode) situation, declines to join them.  Dixon, Ivy (Gillian Zinsler) and Navid devise a plan for Liam (Matt Lanter) to tell Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) the truth about Jen (guest star Sara Foster).  Ryan (Ryan Eggold) and Jen's relationship is taken to an entirely new level when he convinces her to go on a weekend camping trip.  Naomi and Jamie's (guest star Travis Van Winkle, "Meet the Spartans") make out session is interrupted by Richard (guest star Jonathon Trent, "CSI: NY") and his mom, forcing Naomi to come clean about her plans to get accepted into CU.  Mike Listo directed the episode written by Ben Dougan (#210).

THE BITCH IS BACK!  HEATHER LOCKLEAR RETURNS AS AMANDA - Ella (Katie Cassidy) and Caleb (Victor Webster) are stunned when agency owner Amanda Woodward (Heather Locklear) walks into WPK and immediately fires half the staff, including Caleb.  Amanda makes it clear to Ella that the Anton V launch party with Riley (Jessica Lucas) better go off without a hitch or Ella can vacate her office too.  Meanwhile, Auggie (Colin Egglesfield) finally succumbs to Violet's (Ashlee Simpson-Wentz) flirtatious ways and David (Shaun Sipos) asks Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) out on a date.  Michael Rady and Thomas Calabro also star.  Michael Fields directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#109).

THANKSGIVING ON THE UPPER EAST SIDE - It wouldn't be Thanksgiving on the Upper East Side if there wasn't a serving or two of some major drama for the holiday.  Blair (Leighton Meester) suspects her mom (guest star Margaret Colin) has been keeping a big secret from her, but it turns out to be something else entirely.  Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) is supposed to spend Thanksgiving with her parents, but has a fight with her mom (guest star Gina Torres) and shows up on Dan's (Penn Badgley) doorstep.  Rufus (Matthew Settle) learns that Lily (Kelly Rutherford) has been lying to him about her mother, Cece (guest star Caroline Lagerfelt).  Chuck (Ed Westwick) tells Nate (Chace Crawford) that he has some potentially damaging information about one of their friends.  Jenny (Taylor Momsen) learns that Eric (Connor Paolo) was behind her very public embarrassment at Cotillion and can't pass up a chance to get even.  Serena (Blake Lively) is put in a very awkward position when her mother invites Trip (guest star Aaron Tveit) and Maureen (guest star Holley Fain) to join them for Thanksgiving dinner.  Mark Piznarski directed the episode written by Robert Hull & Joshua Safran (#311).

STEFAN AND DAMON HAVE SOME NEW COMPETITION - After reading the journal left by one of the Gilbert ancestors, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is inspired to return to his hobby of sketching fantasy creatures, a talent he had abandoned when his parents died.  Much to the surprise of their friends, Matt (Zach Roerig) and Caroline (Candice Accola) continue to hang out together.  When Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacIntyre) tells Damon (Ian Somerhalder) there has been another attack, he offers to track down the killer and learns a startling piece of information about the town's founding families.  Alaric (guest star Matt Davis) steps in to help during an awkward scene with Jeremy, Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Mayor Lockwood (guest star Rob Pralgo).  Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) come to a new understanding, but everything changes when Elena accidentally makes a devastating discovery.  Sara Canning and Katerina Graham also star.  J. Miller Tobin directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec & Barbie Kligman (#109).

OLD MAN DEAN!  - Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover a witch (guest star Hal Ozsan) is running a high-stakes poker game where the currency is life years vs. money.  Bobby (Jim Beaver) sees the game as a chance to get out of the wheelchair and bets 25 years, but loses.  As Bobby begins to age rapidly, Dean steps in to save him but also ends up turning into an old man, leaving Sam holding the bag for their survival.  Robert Singer directed the episode with teleplay by Sera Gamble and story by Sera Gamble & Jenny Klein (#507).

LOIS MOVES IN WITH CLARK - It's Valentine's Day and while Clark (Tom Welling) is out on a date with Lois (Erica Durance), he unknowingly becomes infected by gemstone kryptonite, which has magical wish-fulfilling properties. Clark mentions to Lois that he wishes they had a more traditional relationship,so Lois quits the Daily Planet, moves in with Clark and starts planning their wedding.  Still unaware of his new power, Clark also casually tells Chloe (Allison Mack) he wishes she would spend more time watching out for him, so an infected Chloe takes his wish to heart and sets her sights on a new target - Lois.  Christopher Petry directed the episode written by Anne Cofell Saunders (#3X5264).

DC COMICS "THE WONDER TWINS" SHOW UP TO HELP CLARK CLEAN UP METROPOLIS - Superhero twins Zan (guest star David Gallagher) and Jayna (guest star Allison Scagliotti) show up in Metropolis to help The Blur fight crime but end up botching several rescues, landing Clark (Tom Welling) in hot water with the District Attorney's office.  Clark decides to come forward as the Blur to clear his name.  Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman and Callum Blue also star.  Glenn Winter directed the episode written by Ann Coffel Saunders (#3X5255).
