NATHAN AND HALEY RECEIVE LIFE-CHANGING NEWS —Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian (Austin Nichols) try to find a balance between their personal lives and work as the movie shoot begins. Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) receive a surprise visit, and Clay (Robert Buckley) supports Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) as she faces some unexpected news. Alex (Jana Kramer) sets her sights on Alexander (guest star Mitch Ryan), and Millicent (Lisa Goldstein) finds herself struggling with temptation. Jackson Brundage also stars. LUX GETS SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL — When Lux (Britt Robertson) gets suspended from school, Cate (Shiri Appleby) does her best to convince Principal Dugan (guest star Merrilyn Gann, "Everwood") to give Lux a second chance, but, unfortunately, her efforts may have made the situation considerably worse for Lux. Meanwhile, Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) is insulted when he finds out that Cate and Ryan (Kerr Smith) are hosting a radio station event at the bar across the street. Austin Basis also stars. RUMER WILLIS AND ANN GILLESPIE GUEST STAR — With the help of Teddy (guest star Trevor Donovan), Jackie (guest star Ann Gillespie) surprises Silver (Jessica Stroup) with a half-birthday celebration that takes her back to her childhood birthday parties. Navid (Michael Steger) witnesses Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) buying drugs from Jasper (guest star Zach Sherman), forcing Navid to confront him about being a drug dealer. Dixon (Tristan Wilds) is determined to confront Sasha (Mekia Cox, who does not appear in the episode) about her miscarriage, forcing Debbie (Lori Loughlin) and Harry (Rob Estes) to reveal that Sasha lied about being pregnant. Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Jasper profess their love for each other and decide to take their relationship to the next level. After getting into a fight on the beach, Liam (Matt Lanter), with the help of Dixon (Tristan Wilds), Teddy and Ivy (Gillian Zinser), devises a plan seek revenge on Jen (Sara Foster, who does not appear in the episode). THE POLICE ARREST AUGGIE FOR MURDER — After learning Auggie's (Colin Egglesfield) blood was on Sydney's (Laura Leighton) murder weapon, the police search his apartment and demand the other residents tell them where he went. Riley (Jessica Lucas) is conflicted about whether to help the police, but Jonah (Michael Rady) pushes her to make the call as she knows where Auggie is staying. Meanwhile, a work incident causes Jonah to pretend he's engaged to Ella (Katie Cassidy) who really gets into the role playing. David (Shaun Sipos) arranges a secret play date with his little brother Noah (guest star Cameron Castaneda) but after the little boy hurts himself, Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) must come to the rescue and risk the wrath of Dr. Mancini (Thomas Calabro). GUEST PERFORMANCE BY LADY GAGA! Hoping to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU, Blair (Leighton Meester) sets her sights on landing a private concert with the hottest musical performer of the year, Lady Gaga. Dan (Penn Badgley) and Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) sign up to write and star in a school play, based on an idea by Blair and directed by Vanessa (Jessica Szohr). With Blair out of the picture, Serena (Blake Lively) turns to Nate (Chace Crawford) to help her get through a difficult situation. As a favor to Chuck (Ed Westwick), Jenny (Taylor Momsen) agrees to hang out with Damien (guest star Kevin Zegers), the son of an ambassador who is staying at Chuck's hotel, but the experience proves to be a lot more intriguing than she expected. McQueen) asks Anna (guest star Malese Jow) to a party in the woods, unaware that she has her own reasons for wanting to meet him there. When Stefan, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena work with Bonnie and Grams (guest star Jasmine Guy) to open the tomb, everyone is shocked by what they discover. METROPOLIS HOSTS A COMIC BOOK CONVENTION — DC COMICS' CHARACTER ZATANNA RETURNS — Clark (Tom Welling) meets Zatanna (guest star Serinda Swan) at a comic book convention, where she tells him her father charmed a copy of the comic book "Warrior Angel" and it holds magical powers. A young man named Stephen (guest star Carlo Marks) steals the comic book and develops super powers, transforming himself into Warrior Angel and saving Chloe (Allison Mack) from a horrible accident. Meanwhile, Lois (Erica Durance) becomes jealous of Clark's relationship with Zatanna. Allison Mack directed the episode written by Bryan Q. Miller (#3X5261).

IT'S FREAKY FRIDAY FOR CHLOE AND LOIS WHEN DC CHARACTER ZATANNA APPEARS — At Chloe's (Allison Mack) birthday party, a mysterious magician named Zatanna (guest star Serinda Swan) grants Chloe's wish to be more like Lois (Erica Durance) and switches the two into each other's bodies. Zatanna searches for her father's book of spells so she can conjure up his spirit but not before also granting Clark (Tom Welling) his deepest wish. Aaron Ashmore and Justin Hartley also star. Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by Bryan Q. Miller (#3T7467).
