CHRIS GOES ON A DATE WITH THE DORKIEST GIRL IN SCHOOL — Chris (Tyler James Williams) is just starting to fit in at his new high school when he gets asked on a date by the dorkiest girl in school, Kelly (guest star Nina Mansker), whom everyone calls "Big Bird." Chris only agrees to go out with her because he doesn't want to hurt her feelings, but after spending some time together he realizes that he genuinely likes her. Tichina Arnold, Terry Crews, Tequan Richmond, Imani Hakim and Vincent Martella also star. Ted Wass directed the episode written by Adam Lorenzo (#074).

LEE MAJORS GUEST STARS — When Derwin (Pooch Hall) injures himself in the big playoff game, Jason (Coby Bell) has to step in and fill his shoes for the Super Bowl game, but he has conflicted feelings about the situation. Meanwhile, Melanie (Tia Mowry) feels torn between her ex, Derwin, and her new relationship with Jerome (guest star Mehcad Brooks). Lee Majors guest stars in his recurring role as Coach Ross. Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Sanchez and Brittany Daniel also star. Lenny Garner directed the episode written by Tim Edwards (#40596-038).

DREW'S DOG NEEDS SURGERY — Drew's (Drew Carey) crippled dog, Speedy, which he acquired from a former girlfriend, needs expensive surgery. Drew can't afford to pay for the operation, but the woman who supervises insurance claims for the department store assures him that the insurance company will pay for it if Drew pretends to be homosexual and claims Speedy as his spouse. Meanwhile, Kate (Christ Miller) buys a ferret that escapes from its cage and wreaks havoc in the office. Robert Borden directed the episode written by Diane Burroughs & Joey Gutierrez (#465918).

A FORMER COWORKER MOVES NEXT DOOR TO DREW — Recently, Drew (Drew Carey) was stalked by a criminally insane former store employee, Earl (guest star David Cross), who was angry about being terminated by Drew. He eventually forgave Earl for threatening his life, but Drew is not happy when Earl moves in next door to him and emulates Drew in every way. Meanwhile, Mimi (Kathy Kinney) inherits a royal title when her aunt, the Duchess of Krakow, dies. Gary Halvorson directed the episode written by Lona Williams (#465919).

THE CITIZENS OF JERICHO GET MUCH-NEEDED RELIEF — As bombers fly over Jericho dropping parachutes with palettes of supplies attached, citizens are both thrilled and cautious about their much-needed relief. As the citizens scramble to retrieve the food and supplies that are dropped from the sky, Mayor Green (Gerald McRaney) tries to convince them to wait until everything is tested to prove that they are safe. Meanwhile, Jonah (guest star James Remar) attempts to commandeer two of the palettes for himself. Martha Mitchell directed the episode written by Mike Ostrowski (#010).

DANNY DEVITO STARS AND DIRECTS Writing teacher Larry Donner (Billy Crystal) and his student Owen Lift (DeVito) have a lot in common: the women in their lives are driving them mad. Larry's ex-wife Margaret (Kate Mulgrew) stole his novel and made it her own bestseller, and Owen's mother (Anne Ramsey) is a monster. But Owen has a plan to kill both problems...literally. He'll murder Margaret while Larry sends Momma to her maker. But when Owen fulfills his end of the deal before telling his teacher, Larry's left with no alibi...and an outrageous obligation to knock off the nastiest old lady he's ever met.
