“EASY MONEY” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“CHOCK FULL O' NUTS” (CONTENT RATING TBD) (HDTV)
MORGAN FLEXES HIS MUSCLE AGAINST A NEW ANTAGONIST - The cat's out of the bag about Morgan's (Jeff Hephner) birthright and he's not done researching his true past. Arming him with a minor clue about his adoption, Bobette (Laurie Metcalf) keeps Morgan close at hand as they seek out failed businessman Dennis Parnell (guest star Arron Shiver, “Swing Vote”) for a debt owed Prestige Payday Loans. With a big match coming up, Roy (Nick Searcy) finds he now owns a mixed martial artist whose trainer falls behind with Prestige. Roy champions the fighter to South Nile's Mayor Luttrell (guest star David Grant Wright, “Saints & Sinners”) and other big wigs, but Bobette's machinations might prove to run contrary to Roy's new celeb status. Brandy (Katie Lowes) is forced to act on Mike's (Joe Peracchio) money issues as Mike psychologically caves under pressure from the Mamayo Brothers (Peter Navy Tuiasosopo and Andy Brooks). While it's clear that Detective Yapp (Chris Browning) has a lot of irons in the fire to keep up appearances, it's Julia's (Marsha Thomason) lab professor Dimitri Rosivich (James Michael McCauley, “Without a Trace”) who really gets under Morgan's skin. Unnerved by Morgan and Julia's dalliance, Dimitri soon regrets mouthing off to the middle Buffkin son. Jay Ferguson, Michelle Griego, Gary Farmer, Kimberly Estrada, Joseph Negus, and Jesus Mayorga also star. Rob Thompson directed the episode written by Bobby Gaylor (#104).
