On Sunday, December 2, the one-hour animated holiday special “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer” will air (6:00-7:00 p.m. ET) in place of the regularly scheduled encore presentation of “Gossip Girl.”

CHRIS BONDS WITH THE NEW KID IN SCHOOL — When a new student, Albert (guest star Kwame Boateng), enrolls at Corleone, Chris realizes that he has a lot more in common with Albert than just being the only two African American kids in school. Unfortunately, Albert makes more enemies than friends, including Greg (Vincent Martella) who warns Chris to stay far away from Albert. Meanwhile, Julius (Terry Crews) and Rochelle (Tichina Arnold) get an unexpected IRS refund check in the mail, but Julius is too afraid to spend any of the money in case the IRS decides to take the money back from them. Tequan Richmond and Imani Hakim also star. The episode was directed by Ted Wass and written by Alyson Fouse (#053).

JUSTIN AND RAJA GET BUSTED FOR A SCHOOL PRANK — Justin (Dan Byrd) and Raja (Adhir Kalyan) are excited when they are asked to participate in the annual Junior Prank. The plan is to flood the teachers' lounge, but Raja finds the idea too destructive and convinces Justin to sabotage the prank. When they accidentally flood the football field instead, they incur the wrath of the entire school. Meanwhile, Gary (Scott Patterson) tries to make up for losing his job by getting all the money possible out of his alpacas, and recruits Claire (Lindsey Shaw) to care for them. Finally, Franny (Amy Pietz) tries to earn more money by selling most of the family's possessions on Craig's List. John Fortenberry directed the episode written by Richard Day (#106).

THE NEW LIFE— Enjoying his single superstar status, Derwin (Pooch Hall) starts dating a new girl Raquel (guest star Nicole Pulliam). Meanwhile, Melanie (Tia Mowry) takes a new job as a waitress at a coffee shop and must swallow her pride when Derwin and his date walk into the shop and she must wait on them. Later, Melanie gets a visit from Mathis (guest star Enya Flack), a new member of the Sunbeams, who offers Melanie money to get information on the proper way to get pregnant via a turkey-baster. Mathis mentions she needs the instructions for her girlfriend who is trying to nab a football player named Derwin Davis. When Melanie goes to warn Derwin about the “turkey basting hoochie” he is dating, Derwin tells Melanie she is just jealous of his new lifestyle. The latest escaped soul is a former bank robber who has come back to collect the cash he hid after his last heist. Sam, Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) capture the soul then find the stolen money, leading to an argument about what to do with it. THE HUMPHREYS AND VAN DER WOODSENS SHARE THANKSGIVING When Dan (Penn Badgley) hears that Serena (Blake Lively) and her family are spending Thanksgiving alone at The Palace, he naively invites them to spend the holiday with his family, creating an uncomfortable situation for Rufus (Matthew Settle) and Lily (Kelly Rutherford) whose children are unaware of their complicated romantic history. Meanwhile, Blair's (Leighton Meester) emotions spiral out of control when she learns that her father isn't coming home for Thanksgiving. Nate (Chace Crawford) spends the holiday with his mom (guest star Francie Swift) and dad (guest star Sam Robards), but their awkward dinner quickly goes from bad to worse. Taylor Momsen also stars. CLARK MEETS HIS COUSIN KARA KENT AND VISITS JOR-EL — Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois (Erica Durance) discover Kara's (Laura Vandervoort) spaceship but before they can open it, Kara appears and knocks Lois out. Clark is shocked after Kara tells him she is there to protect baby Kal-El. Despite Kara's appearance, a despondent Clark decides that without Lana (Kristin Kreuk) there is nothing keeping him in Smallville, and heads to the Fortress of Solitude to begin his training as a superhero. However, Jor-El tells him Kara's father - Zor-El, who is Jor-El's brother - is evil and Kara is dangerous. Therefore, Clark must stay in Smallville to find out why she came to Earth. Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) makes a stunning discovery regarding Lana and Project 33.1. Allison Mack, Aaron Ashmore and John Glover also star. However, Dean is stunned when he meets not only Lisa again, but also her 8-year old son Ben (guest star Nicholas Elias), who bears a striking resemblance to him. However, Ben soon goes missing and Sam and Dean discover that a Changeling, a demonic parasite, is snatching kids from the small town and assuming their form. BROKEN HEARTS AND CIGARETTES / FRED SAVAGE (“THE WONDER YEARS”) DIRECTS — Stressed out over midterms, Raja (Adhir Kalyan) horrifies the Tolchuck family when he casually begins smoking. When he explains that it is common practice in Pakistan for people of all ages to smoke, Gary (Scott Patterson) and Franny (Amy Pietz) tell him they both struggled to quit and smoking is forbidden in their home. However, without letting each other know, both Gary and Franny begin sneaking cigarettes with Raja in the garage. Meanwhile, Justin (Dan Byrd) witnesses Claire's (Lindsey Shaw) heartbreak when her boyfriend Jeffrey (guest star Nathan Mitchell) breaks up with her. When Justin's attempt to cheer Claire up is misunderstood by her friends, she is embarrassed and mocks Justin in front of their classmates. Meanwhile, guests at the Blue Antelope expect to participate in a guided wildlife hunt, which Danny (D.W. Moffett) and Jo (Stephanie Niznik) don't offer, and decide to check into the Mara Lodge. Danny and Art (David Butler) do their best to protect the white lion, which represents the spirit of Africa, being targeted by the hunters. K'Sun Ray and Mary Mouser also star.
