CHRIS JOINS THE SCHOOL NEWSPAPER — With no extracurricular activities to his name, Chris (Tyler James Williams) decides to join the writing staff of the school newspaper. However, when his writing skills fail to impress, Chris concocts a fictitious story about a serial killer loose on the streets of Bed-Stuy, which eventually finds its way to the local Brooklyn paper and causes quite a panic within the community. Terry Crews, Tichina Arnold, Tequan Richmond, Imani Hakim and Vincent Martella also star. The episode was directed by Debbie Allen and written by Rodney Barnes (#049).

JUSTIN COMPETES WITH RAJA — Justin (Dan Byrd) is looking forward to serving on the Homecoming Junior Float committee, where his idea for the previous year's float was a big hit. However, when Raja (Adhir Kalyan) innocently questions Justin's new idea for a float and the committee chooses Raja's idea over Justin's, a feud begins between the two friends. Meanwhile, Franny (Amy Pietz) secretly tries on Claire's (Lindsey Shaw) new, sexy Homecoming dress, which Gary (Scott Patterson) finds irresistible. When he learns that the revealing dress belongs to Claire, however, he forbids her to wear it out of the house. Dennie Gordon directed the episode written by Michael Glouberman (#103).

RETAIL THERAPY — Joan (Tracee Ellis Ross) is convinced that Maya (Golden Brooks) is not coping with the recent loss of her baby, and decides a little retail therapy will help her recover. While shopping Maya finds out it is really Joan who needs the therapy when she has a breakdown about Aaron (Richard T. Jones) being away in Iraq. Later, when Monica (Keesha Sharp) tells William (Reggie Hayes) that she is pregnant, his response is less than she desired. Millicent Shelton directed the episode written by Karin Gist (#40338-165).

MOVING OUT AND MOVING IN — Tasha (Wendy Raquel Robinson) gives Melanie (Tia Mowry) one month to find a new place and move out of her house. When Derwin (Pooch Hall) calls Melanie's parents to tell them about their break-up, Melanie gets upset and admits that that she slept with Trey Wiggs and borrowed money from him to pay for medical school. Later, Jason (Coby Bell) has trouble performing in the bedroom, triggering Kelly (Brittany Daniel) to suspect that he is cheating, and Dionne (guest star Shanti Lowry) offers Melanie a place to live. Hosea Chanchez also stars. Salim Akil directed the episode written by Tim Edwards (#40596-028).

ROAD TRIP TO MEXICO — The Beauties and Geeks travel across the border. One Geek emerges from his shell while another is pushed to the limit with his partner. In their challenges, two Beauties go head-to-head in a memory face-off, while their partners fight for immunity in a Geek dance-off. A new twist turns the game upside down (#409).

SAM IS GIVEN AN 8-TRACK SOUNDTRACK TO A BAD 1970S FILM TO USE AS A VESSEL — Sam (Bret Harrison) must trap a thrill-seeking couple, Holly (guest star Mercedes McNab) and Kit (guest star Craig Stanghetta), who engineer fatal car crashes to keep their relationship fresh and exciting. Meanwhile, Sam meets a cute new girl named Taylor (guest star Pascale Hutton) and wants to ask her out but becomes suspicious after the Devil (Ray Wise) pushes him to make a move and offers inside tips on her life. Tyler Labine, Rick Gonzalez, Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. James Head directed the episode written by Yolanda Lawrence (#107).

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS GUEST STARS — Tyra surprises the girls and gives them an in-depth lesson about how to model in front of a moving camera. One model continues to get jealous and be very critical of her competition. Later, the girls are greeted by music video director Jesse Terrero and find out that they are going to participate in a music video with Enrique Iglesias. During the shoot one model from exhaustion collapses. Special guests include, video director Jesse Terrero and video producer Billy Parks (#907).

THINGS ARE HEATING UP BETWEEN SERENA AND DAN After surviving the on-again/off-again nature of their new relationship, Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley) finally acknowledge they are crazy about each other, despite their polar opposite worlds that constantly threaten to pull them apart. Chuck (Ed Westwick) contemplates investing in a burlesque club in the hopes of making his hard-to-please father, Bart (guest star Robert John Burke), proud of him. Nate (Chace Crawford) confronts his father, Captain (guest star Sam Robards), about the drugs he found in the house, but his father denies having a problem. Jenny (Taylor Momsen) discovers a secret her father, Rufus (Matthew Settle), and mother, Alison (guest star Susan Misner), have been keeping from her. Finally, Blair (Leighton Meester) is once again devastated by Nate's actions after Jenny reveals that Nate kissed her by accident thinking she was Serena. The episode was directed by Tony Wharmby and written by K.J. Steinberg (#106).

LANA ABSORBS CLARK'S POWERS AND GOES AFTER LEX — Kryptonite and high voltage mix during a lightning storm, causing Lana (Kristin Kreuk) to absorb Clark's (Tom Welling) powers. Using her newfound super powers, she breaks into Lex's (Michael Rosenbaum) safe and steals incriminating evidence which she then delivers to Lois (Erica Durance) and Grant (Michael Cassidy), demanding they run a story exposing Lex's secrets. After Grant refuses to use stolen material, Lana decides to take care of Lex herself. Clark tries to stop Lana from killing Lex and a super battle ensues between the two. Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Aaron Ashmore and John Glover also star. Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders (#3T6307).

BELA RESURFACES TO CAUSE MORE TROUBLE FOR SAM AND DEAN — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the mysterious demise of drowned victims who were nowhere near the water at the time of their death. The brothers learn each of the victims saw a ghost ship shortly before they died. Upon investigation, they cross paths with Bela (Lauren Cohan), who is being paid handsomely by one of the murder victim's family members to solve the case. Sam and Dean warn her to stay out of their way, but she has other plans. Cliff Bole directed the episode written by Laurence Andries (#306).

RAJA COOLS DOWN THE HOTTEST GIRL IN SCHOOL — Justin (Dan Byrd) has had a long-time crush on Anita (guest star Whitney Anderson), the most popular girl in school, but her overtly sexual behavior makes Raja uncomfortable and he convinces her that she should dress and behave more modestly. She befriends the two boys and Justin begins to believe he might have a chance with the "new" Anita. Claire (Lindsey Shaw) is thrilled that Anita is no longer the leader of the A-List crowd and quickly tries to take her place. Meanwhile, when Justin tells Franny (Amy Pietz) it's time for him to start choosing his own clothes, she turns her attention to updating Gary's (Scott Patterson) wardrobe. JESSE AND DANNY ARE CHASED UP A TREE BY A HIPPO — Katie (Leah Pipes) is excited to learn that the boys and girls will compete against each other in a charity soccer game to benefit underprivileged kids. Though she is a strong soccer player, Katie is surprised to learn that the boys refuse to believe that the girls will win the game. Katie motivates Emily (Tiffany Mulheron) and fellow her teammates to do their best, but when her skills cause tension with Oliver (Calvin Goldspink), who is playing against her, she attempts to weaken her chances of winning the game. Meanwhile, Jesse (Andrew St. John) quickly befriends James (guest star Karl Thaning), a guest at the Blue Antelope, whose wild and adventurous actions cause Jesse serious injury and lead to tension between Danny (D.W. Moffett) and Jo (Stephanie Niznik). Atandwa Kani, K'Sun Ray and Mary Mouser also star. Jim Sadwith directed the episode written by Elizabeth Hunter (#105).
