With Chris' (Tyler James Williams) entire class counting on him to master algebra in time for a math competition, Rochelle (Tichina Arnold) takes it upon herself to tutor Chris. Unfortunately, Rochelle's teaching style doesn't do the trick, so Chris is forced to secretly meet with Rochelle's mother, Maxine (Loretta Devine), a former algebra teacher. Meanwhile, when Drew (Tequan Richmond) accidentally breaks Julius' (Terry Crews) favorite chair, Tonya (Imani Hakim) takes the fall for him, but it turns out the good deed comes with a hefty price tag attached. PROPOSALS AND SECOND CHANCES - Joan (Tracee Ellis Ross) unexpectedly proposes to Aaron (guest star Richard T. Jones), but when he stumbles on his response, Joan decides the relationship is over and walks away. Meanwhile Maya (Golden Brooks) and Darnell (Khalil Kain) find their dream house, but when Darnell gets a chance to buy the garage, he must decide which purchase to make. Later, Joan runs into her old boyfriend Brock (guest star Malik Yoba), who tells her he made a mistake by letting her go and announces his intention to marry her now. Joan agrees to go away with Brock for a weekend in Catalina, but Maya (Golden Brooks) and Lynn (Persia White) decide it's time to intervene. Reggie Hayes and Keesha Sharp also star. LOGAN PROPOSES ON THE DAY RORY GRADUATES FROM YALE ?? On the eve of Rory's (Alexis Bledel) graduation, Emily (Kelly Bishop) and Richard (Edward Herrmann) throw her a party and perform a song in her honor. At the party, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Christopher (David Sutcliffe) are reunited for the first time since their separation, and both are relieved to find they can still be friends. Logan (Matt Czuchry) surprises everyone at the party by proposing to Rory, but she is too shocked to give him an answer and begs Lorelai to help her decide what to do. On graduation day, Rory and Paris (Liza Weil) receive their diplomas, and Rory finally gives Logan her answer. Meanwhile, Lorelai is embarrassed about her karaoke serenade to Luke (Scott Patterson) the night before, and Luke is hurt when he overhears her saying it didn't mean anything. PAUL RUDD ("ANCHORMAN") GUEST STARS - Piz (Chris Lowell) is put in charge of escorting his idol, Desmond Fellows (guest star Paul Rudd, "Anchorman"), a singer/musician from a 1990's pop band who arrives on the Hearst campus to perform at a benefit concert for the radio station. When tapes of Fellow's back-up vocals and tracks go missing, Piz recruits Veronica (Kristen Bell) to help locate them. Keith (Enrico Colantoni) believes he will be running unopposed in the race for Sheriff, until an unlikely candidate throws his hat into the ring. LEARNING TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES - The final four models visit with Aboriginal teachers for a lesson on self expression and storytelling. That night, they go out on the town in Sydney, but one model stays home sick and the others take the opportunity to talk behind her back. At the photo shoot, each girl expresses themselves through Aboriginal dance, wearing traditional clothing and body paint. One girl complains bitterly about dancing while another embraces it. At elimination, Tyra asks each model who they think has the most potential, and things get heated when one model is verbally attacked. The judges send one girl home. Special guests include photographer Kane Skennar and Seventeen magazine entertainment director Carissa Rosenberg serves as guest judge (#811).

While on the trip, Haley (Bethany Galeotti) and Nathan (James Lafferty) get a second chance to enjoy the prom, and Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) decide to take their relationship to the next level. LEX TRIES TO BUILD AN ARMY OF SUPER SOLDIERS ?? Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) has been secretly trying to turn Wes Keenan (guest star Tahmoh Penikett), a military man who supposedly died fighting in Afghanistan, into a "super soldier" by injecting him with DNA pulled from the various meteor freaks he has captured. After a crooked senator (guest star Alan C. Peterson) threatens to expose his secret labs, Lex dispatches Wes to kill the senator, but Lois (Erica Durance) witnesses the attack and inadvertently becomes the super soldier's next target. Meanwhile, Clark (Tom Welling) tries to convince Lana (Kristin Kreuk) to leave Lex. Allison Mack and Annette O'Toole also star. Steven S. DeKnight wrote the episode directed by Mat Beck (#2T7721).

PART ONE OF A SHOCKING SEASON FINALE - Sam (Jared Padalecki) is abducted by the Yellow-Eyed Demon and finds himself in a ghost town with other children who have special abilities. They learn the Demon has brought them together to initiate his endgame: an all-out war against the human race. In an effort to encourage Sam to fight, the Demon shows him what really happened to one of his parents.
