On Sunday, January 14, "7th Heaven" will return with an original episode (8:00-9:00 p.m.).

"EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS" - (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET)
"Everybody Hates Malvo" (TV-PG) (HDTV)
CHRIS GETS FIRED - Chris (Tyler James Williams) is honored when Doc (Antonio Fargas) finally entrusts him with watching the cash register, but the situation goes from good to really bad when Chris is robbed by the neighborhood's notorious repeat-offender, Malvo (guest star Ricky Harris). Then, when Chris refuses to tell Doc who robbed the place for fear that Malvo will retaliate, Doc has no other choice but to fire Chris. Meanwhile, Julius (Terry Crews) surprises the family with an outdated betamax machine, but Tonya (Imani Hakim) gets in big trouble when she accidentally tapes a cartoon over his precious "stories" (aka soap operas). DON'T I KNOW YOU? - Robert (Duane Martin) comes to the aid of a stranger, Eva (guest star Chrystee Pharris, "Scrubs"), when her purse is being stolen on the street and the pair end up hitting it off. After a series of dates, Dirk (Tony Rock) realizes that he knows her from a night club he frequents and confronts Robert with the news. Meanwhile, Neesee (LisaRaye McCoy) encourages Bobby (Khamani Griffin) to be friends with an unpopular girl in his class, resulting in a unique friendship between the two. CHASING THE DREAM - Joan (Tracee Ellis Ross) learns that Maya (Golden Brooks) and Lynn (Persia White) did not tell her about a recent outing they had with Toni, who was in town for a brief visit. Joan explains to them that there is no need to keep things secret from her because she is over the whole Toni issue. Later, when Joan insists on bringing Monica (Keesha Sharp) into the circle of friends Maya and Lynn accuse her of using Monica as a substitute for Toni. Reggie Hayes also stars. KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES-When Kelly's (Brittany Daniel) daughter (Erica Gluck) tells her she wants an extravagant birthday party like the rest of her friends, Kelly approaches Jason (Coby Bell) for money and he refuses. Meanwhile, when Derwin (Pooch Hall) beats Malik (Hosea Chanchez) in a XBOX John Madden game, Malik takes the loss badly and repeatedly comes to Derwin for a re-match to redeem himself. STARS HOLLOW THROWS A "KNIT-A-THON" - When Christopher (David Sutcliffe) questions Lorelai (Lauren Graham) about why she has avoided involving him in the daily life of Stars Hollow, she admits her concern that her old friends may not accept him. Christopher makes an effort to bond with the townspeople, and Lorelai brings him to the town knit-a-thon, where his well-intentioned gesture brings the event to an early end. When Olivia (Michelle Ongkingo) throws a 2002-themed birthday party for Lucy (Krysten Ritter), Rory (Alexis Bledel) gets her chance to confront Marty (Wayne Wilcox) about his coldness toward her. Finally, Luke (Scott Patterson) is touched by the birth of Liz (Kathleen Wilhoite) and T.J.'s (Michael DeLuise) baby, and when he learns that Anna (Sherilyn Fenn) is planning to move to New Mexico with April (Vanessa Marano), he demands equal rights as a parent. HEIRESS & AUTHOR PATRICIA HEARST GUEST STARS - Selma Rose (guest star Patricia Hearst), the wealthy grand-daughter of the founder of Hearst College and a member of the Hearst College Board of Trustees, mysteriously disappears the night before she is to cast a swing vote that will determine the fate of the Greek system on campus. Keith (Enrico Colantoni), with Veronica's (Kristen Bell) help, is hired by Dean O'Dell (guest star Ed Begley, Jr., "Arrested Development") to investigate the disappearance. Meanwhile, Veronica has been rehired as a photographer at the Hearst Free Press, but she and Logan (Jason Dohring) fight over her involvement in the rape case. Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra, Ryan Hansen, Michael Muhney, Tina Majorino, Chris Lowell and Julie Gonzalo also star. Steve Gomer directed the episode written by Diane Ruggiero (#3T5808).

GEEKS GAWK AT A NAKED WOMAN AND THE BEAUTIES TALK AERONAUTICS - Seven teams remain and surprise their teammates with a barbecue dinner, along with unique toasts. The geeks are shocked to learn their challenge requires them to sketch a portrait of a nude woman. Once the sketches are completed, they realize they aren't being judged on just their art skills. Meanwhile, the beauties showcase their knowledge of planes and space travel when they act as a tour guide to a group of museum visitors at the California Science Center. Two teams go to the elimination room, but only one team goes home. (#303).

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE - Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) receives an unlikely visitor - his supposedly dead Uncle Keith (guest star Craig Sheffer). Haley's (Bethany Joy Galeotti) life and the life of her unborn child are threatened when she experiences serious complications with her pregnancy and Nathan (James Lafferty) wrestles with the guilt and consequences of his dealings with Daunte (guest star Rick Fox, "Oz"). Dan (Paul Johansson) tries to make amends for Keith's murder. Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Brooke (Sophia Bush) try to patch up their differences.
