"Veronica Mars" will air a Halloween episode, titled "President Evil" on Tuesday, October 31 (9:00-10:00 p.m.).

 On "Smallville," Bow Wow will guest star in the episode titled "Fallout" on Thursday, November 2 (8:00-9:00 p.m.).

 On "7th Heaven," series star Beverley Mitchell will sing a song from her soon-to-be-released self-titled country CD in the episode titled "Broken Hearts and Promises" on Sunday, November 5 (8:00-9:00 p.m.).

 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 30

"EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS" - (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET)

"Everybody Hates Malvo" (TV-PG) (HDTV)

CHRIS GETS FIRED - Chris (Tyler James Williams) is honored when Doc (Antonio Fargas) finally entrusts him with watching the cash register, but the situation goes from good to really bad when Chris is robbed by the neighborhood's notorious repeat-offender, Malvo (guest star Ricky Harris).  Then, when Chris refuses to tell Doc who robbed the place for fear that Malvo will retaliate, Doc has no other choice but to fire Chris.  Meanwhile, Julius (Terry Crews) surprises the family with an outdated betamax machine, but Tonya (Imani Hakim) gets in big trouble when she accidentally tapes a cartoon over his precious "stories" (aka soap operas).  Tichina Arnold, Tequan Richmond and Vincent Martella also star.  Debbie Allen directed the episode written by Alyson Fouse (#027).

DON'T I KNOW YOU? - Robert (Duane Martin) comes to the aid of a stranger, Eva (guest star Chrystee Pharris, "Scrubs"), when her purse is being stolen on the street and the pair end up hitting it off.  After a series of dates, Dirk (Tony Rock) realizes that he knows her from a night club he frequents and confronts Robert with the news.  Meanwhile, Neesee (LisaRaye McCoy) encourages Bobby (Khamani Griffin) to be friends with an unpopular girl in his class, resulting in a unique friendship between the two.  Debbie Allen directed the episode written by Stacy A. CHASING THE DREAM - Joan (Tracee Ellis Ross) learns that Maya (Golden Brooks) and Lynn (Persia White) did not tell her about a recent outing they had with Toni, who was in town for a brief visit. Joan explains to them that there is no need to keep things secret from her because she is over the whole Toni issue.  Later, when Joan insists on bringing Monica (Keesha Sharp) into the circle of friends Maya and Lynn accuse her of using Monica as a substitute for Toni. THE MORNING AFTER - Picking up on the day after last season's finale, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) wakes up in bed with Christopher (David Sutcliffe).  Confused and mortified, she makes a hasty exit, ignoring Christopher's pleas that she stay.  Once at home, Lorelai tries to get rid of everything that reminds her of Luke (Scott Patterson) and ends up practically emptying her house.  Rory (Alexis Bledel) receives a toy rocket ship as a parting gift from Logan (Matt Czuchry) and is baffled as to its meaning.  She decides she should join him in London for the summer, only to learn he has bought her a ticket for a visit at Christmas.  Kirk (Sean Gunn) and Taylor (guest star Michael Winters) cause a bizarre accident that damages Luke's diner.  Finally, Luke shows up at Lorelai's door and asks her to elope.  Melissa McCarthy, Yanic Truesdale and Liza Weil also star.  Lee Shallat Chemel directed the episode written by David S. A HALLOWEEN TO REMEMBER - It's Halloween at Hearst and while Veronica (Kristen Bell) is looking for Logan (Jason Dohring) at the underground campus casino, the place is robbed and the thieves take Veronica's necklace, given to her by Lilly Kane (Amanda Seyfried, who does not appear in the episode).  Meanwhile, Dean O'Dell (guest star Ed Begley, Jr., "Arrested Development") and his wife Mindy (guest star Jamie Ray Newman, "E Ring") seek Keith's (Enrico Colantoni) help in tracking down Steve (guest star Richard Grieco, "21 Jump Street"), the biological father of Mindy's son, who is deathly ill.  Wallace (Percy Daggs III), distracted by a new group of friends, struggles to pass his Mechanical Engineering class.  Ryan Hansen, Michael Muhney, Tina Majorino, Chris Lowell, Francis Capra and Julie Gonzalo also star.  Nick Marck directed the episode written by Jonathan Moskin and David Mulei (#3T58045).

BOW WOW GUEST STARS AS A KILLER FROM THE PHANTOM ZONE ?? Clark Tom Welling) is thrilled when he learns Raya (guest star Pascale Hutton) managed to escape from the Phantom Zone and has come to see him in Smallville.  The two grow close and Raya shows Clark how to restore power to the Fortress of Solitude.  However, Baern (guest star Bow Wow), a killer who also escaped from the Phantom Zone, takes on both Raya and Clark as he seeks revenge for his imprisonment.  Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, Erica Durance, Allison Mack, John Glover and Annette O'Toole also star.  Holly Harold wrote the episode directed by Glen Winter (#2T7707).

SERIES STAR BEVERLEY MITCHELL PERFORMS A SONG FROM HER DEBUT COUNTRY CD - After Eric (Stephen Collins) gives the family a big scare and the paramedics are called to the house, Annie (Catherine Hicks) realizes Eric has been hiding the truth from her and she's determined to find out what it is.  Meanwhile, Lucy (Beverley Mitchell) pays a surprise visit to Sandy (Haylie Duff), who appears to be falling in love with her classmate, Daniel (guest star Aaron Staton), while Martin (Tyler Hoechlin) continues to pursue her as well.  Additionally in the episode, series star Beverley Mitchell sings a song, "Have You Ever Loved an Angel," from her upcoming self-titled country CD, Beverley Mitchell.  Nikolas & Lorenzo Brino and George Stults also star.  The episode was directed by Michael Preece and written by creator and executive producer Brenda Hampton (#227).
