Familiar to television audiences from his role on “Teen Wolf,” Colton Haynes stars as Roy Harper on The CW’s “Arrow.” After being rescued by the Arrow (Stephen Amell) last season, Roy is inspired to take up the mantle and starts policing The Glades, looking to protect the city from its numerous villains. His girlfriend, Thea Queen (Willa Holland), doesn’t approve of his extracurricular activities so he must learn to balance his duties as boyfriend with his new job of secretly helping the Arrow.
With his natural acting ability and striking good looks, Haynes is on his way to becoming one of Hollywood’s leading young stars. Most recently, Haynes starred as “Jackson” in the series Teen Wolf, a darker reconstruct of the 1985 film starring Michael J. Fox. No stranger to the world of television werewolves, Haynes also starred as Brett Crezski, the town’s football star and resident werewolf, on the series “The Gates.” In his young acting career, Haynes has been able to garner several notable television roles. He has appeared as one of the stars of the controversial miniseries “Look¸” in addition to guest starring roles on “Privileged,” “Pushing Daisies” and “Melrose Place.”
Born in Kansas, Haynes has two sisters and one brother. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
