NATHALIE MORRIS

Olympia “Oly” Chalmers in “Bump”

Nathalie Morris stars as Olympia “Oly” Chalmers, an overachieving 17-year-old student who knows exactly where she’s going in The CW’s new series “Bump.” Oly’s boyfriend, doctor’s son Lachie (Peter Thurnwald, “King Kong: Skull Island,” “Thor: Ragnarok”), ticks all the right boxes; she and her best friend, Reema (Safia Arain, “One Lane Bridge,” “Black Christmas”), share an ambitious 10-year plan: top grades, international relations at a university, work for the UN, save the world. A great plan until one day, Oly is stunned to learn that she is in labor!

Originally from Canberra, where her family still reside, Morris went to New Zealand to study acting for three years and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from New Zealand’s leading Drama School, Toi Whakaari. She also trained at the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards in Italy, and with the Canberra Youth Theatre.

Morris graduated from New Zealand’s leading Drama School, Toi Whakaari, with a Bachelor of Performing Arts Degree, in 2018. Since graduating, she has appeared in the US feature film “Black Christmas” from Blumhouse Productions, the series “Almost Paradise,” and season one and two of Great Southern Television’s series “One Lane Bridge.”

Morris starred as Nina in Emily Bishop’s production of Chekov’s “The Seagull,” which screened online during COVID and was met with worldwide acclaim. She will next be seen in acclaimed filmmaker Alena Lodkina’s upcoming feature film “Petrol.”
