In The CW’s critically acclaimed comedy “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” Vincent Rodriguez III plays Josh, the athletic, good-looking object of Rebecca’s affection which borders on obsession.

Rodriguez hails from from Daly City, Calif. and graduated from the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts in Santa Maria, Calif. Immediately following graduation, he made his professional debut tap dancing on the first national tour of the Broadway revival of “42nd Street.”

Since then, Rodriguez has worked at many regional theaters and toured with first national tours like “Pippin,” “Xanadu” and “Anything Goes.” In 2014 and 2015, he performed in the workshop and two stage premieres of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” He was in the award-winning and internationally acclaimed Filipino Disco Popperetta “Here Lies Love” at the Public Theater in New York City and also appeared in “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” (original cast recording).

His television credits include guest starring roles on “Designated Survivor,” “Hostages,” “Donny!” and “Another Period.” In his spare time, Rodriguez works out, takes classes in acting and improv, and trains in extreme martial arts with a focus on weapons, stunts and acrobatics.
