Steven Carrington on “Dynasty”

In The CW’s new drama “Dynasty,” James Mackay plays Steven Carrington, the black sheep of the wealthy, conservative Carrington family, who returns home to learn first-hand how hard it is to keep your principles intact when you are caught up in a Carrington crisis.

Mackay is an Australian born actor, who was the recipient of the 2013 Heath Ledger Scholarship Award. 

Mackay starred in the feature films “Singularity” for Roland Jaffe, opposite Josh Hartnett and Neve Campbell, as well as “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” with Guy Pearce and Katie Holmes, and “Hacksaw Ridge,” directed by Mel Gibson.  Most recently, he was seen in “The Dressmaker,” opposite Kate Winslet, as well as “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”  On television, Mackay was seen in the hit series “The Leftovers.”
