HELEN HIGHFIELD
Ella in “I Ship It”

Helen Highfield stars as Ella, a fangirl and aspiring writer obsessed with the television show “Superstition,” on The CW musical comedy series “I Ship It.”

Highfield was born and raised in Ithaca, NY, in a thriving performing arts scene. She sang in just about every choir in town, performed in all the school musicals and got her first taste of acting in a Meisner class at The Actor’s Workshop in Ithaca. Highfield traveled to New York City to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and after graduation moved to Los Angeles, where she currently resides.

In addition to “I Ship It,” television credits include “Law & Order: SVU,” “Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life,” “Adam Ruins Everything” and “Criminal Minds.”

Highfield has starred as Janet in “The Rocky Horror Hipster Show,” a live club production playing to sold out audiences, for the past four years. Currently she’s recurring on audio drama “The AM Archives” and is on faculty as an acting coach at Lesly Kahn & Co.
