Executive Producer of “Legacies”

 

Brett Matthews is executive producer and Showrunner of “Legacies” on The CW.

 

Matthews has created stories for print, comics and the big and small screens. An Eisner and Hugo Award nominee for his television and comic work, he has written episodes for shows such as “Firely,” “Supernatural” and “The Vampire Diaries.” He developed and served as executive producer/showrunner on the reboot of MTV’s “Scream” franchise and currently executive produces and runs “Legacies,” as well as “More” for HBO Max. Originally from Connecticut, Matthews is a graduate of Wesleyan University’s prestigious Film Studies program.
