Colin Alpert / Oscar Wallace in “Moonshine”

 

Farid Yazdani stars as Colin Alpert / Oscar Wallacet in The CW’s new series “Moonshine.” It’s federal law enforcement officer Colin Alpert’s (a.k.a Oscar Wallace) time to shine in his first undercover operation… maybe… he thinks he can shine… or at least sparkle. Confidence has never been his strong suit and that’s why he let his dream of being an undercover cop flounder and rode a desk in the financial crimes department for years. He’s uptight, off beat and ambitious all wrapped up in a blanket of sweetness and insecurity. Oscar’s smuggling case is make or break for him but can he see it through when the price tag is a broken heart?

 

Yazdani is a Canadian actor, producer and writer, best known for his role as ‘David Green’ on the television series “Suits.” Yazdani has also appeared in “Titans,” “The Boys,” “Shadowhunters” and the feature film “Books of Blood.” His most recent achievements include winning Best Short at The Canadian Comedy Awards and Best Actor in a leading role at the IndieFest Film Awards for his original pilot “Day Players,” of which he is the creator and star. Currently, “Day Players” is being developed into a web series.

 

Yazdani is a proud graduate of the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Toronto and an alumnus of the Reelworld Emerging 20 Artists. When he’s not busy acting, Yazdani enjoys cycling, basketball, walking his Husky/Lab, Niko, and working on creating new content. He is also an Ambassador for Mena Massoud’s Ethnically Diverse Actors (EDA) Foundation.

 

Born and raised in Hamilton, ON, Yazdani now resides in Toronto, ON.
