Executive Producer/Co-Showrunner of “Supergirl”

Jessica Queller serves as executive producer/co-showrunner of The CW’s hit series “Supergirl.”

Born and raised in Manhattan, NY, Queller received her BA in English literature from Tufts University. Her first staff writing job was on “Fling,” the series created by Glen Gordon Caron.  She went on to write and produce many more TV shows including

“Felicity,” “Ed,” “One Tree Hill,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Gossip Girl,” “The Carrie Diaries,” “Vegas” and “Blood and Oil.” She is currently co-writing a pilot titled “Tribeca.”

Queller is the author of the acclaimed memoir “Pretty is What Changes” (Random House, 2008), which chronicles her journey of inheriting the BRCA1 mutation from her mother. She has written Op-Ed pieces on the subject for both The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Queller is a passionate women’s health advocate and has spoken extensively about the BRCA gene on television and radio including “Good Morning America,” “Nightline,” “Tavis Smiley” and NPR’s “Morning Edition.” She is the recipient of the 2007 Lynne Cohen Spirit Award, the 2008 Val Skinner Hero Award, and the 2015 Get In Touch Foundation’s Woman of Strength Award.
