Chester P. Runk on “The Flash”



Brandon McKnight stars as Chester P. Runk in The CW’s hit series “The Flash.”

Raised in a family of blue collars, musicians, and athletes, McKnight is a Jamaican-Canadian actor whose feature film debut was in the Academy Award winning film “The Shape of Water” directed by Guillermo del Toro.

Other notable feature film credits include “I’ll Take Your Dead” directed by Chad Archibald, “Nose to Tail” opposite Aaron Abrams that premiered at the Canadian Film Festival, the multi-award-winning Charles Officer directed “Akilla’s Killer,” which premiered at TIFF, and most recently “A Hundred Lies” by director Rouzbeh Heydari.

Select television credits include the award-winning half hour comedy series “Kim’s Convenience,” the medical drama “Nurses” for Global, the Queen Latifah produced television movie biopic “You Brought the Sunshine” about The Clark Sisters for Lifetime, and “Most Dangerous Game” opposite Liam Hemsworth on Quibi.

McKnight is a graduate of the prestigious CFC Actors Conservatory, founded by Norman Jewison, which selects only a small handful of performers each year.

McKnight is an avid listener and player of jazz music. He is based in Toronto.
