Cecile Horton on “The Flash”



Danielle Nicolet stars as Cecile Horton in The CW’s hit series “The Flash.”

On the writing front, Nicolet was recently chosen to be a part of Women Write Now, a comedic writing fellowship designed to champion and elevate Black female comedy writers through mentorship, advocacy, production, and exhibition.  The program is founded by Kevin Hart and his company Laugh Out Loud.  Nicolet’s short was picked out of 642 submissions, 17 were interviewed, 10 finalists went to a jury, and a top six went to the directors for consideration.  Her short film, Black Karen, will premiere at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and was directed by actress Meagan Good. 

Nicolet has starred in in such projects with such as “The Real Husbands of Hollywood,” and the motion picture “Central Intelligence,” which also starred DeWayne Johnson. Other past projects include the Netflix movie “Deidra And Laney Rob A Train,” Tyler Perry’s “Acrimony.” In addition, Nicolet was heavily recurring on BET’s uber popular series, “The Game.”

She currently resides in Vancouver while filming.
