Lidia Bennett in “Moonshine”
Jennifer Finnigan stars as Lidia Bennett in The CW’s new series “Moonshine.” The eldest Finley-Cullen, model good looks, Ivy League architecture degree, adorable husband and kids. Her life is perfect - from the outside. But behind the smile, Audi SUV and the apartment on Central Park, Lidia is a conflicted woman struggling for control over her marriage, career and the life decisions that have taken her so far from her home. Lidia’s return to the Moonshine will force her to deal with past trauma, forge a new path on her own terms and embrace the dysfunction that makes her so quintessentially a Finley-Cullen.
Winner of three consecutive Daytime Emmy® Awards early in her career, Finnigan has been a constant presence on both comedic and dramatic series, such as Jerry Bruckheimer's legal drama “Close To Home,” and the comedy “Better With You.”
Finnigan starred as Grace Barrows in the series “Salvation” and before that starred in the series “Tyrant” from the creators and producers of “Homeland.” She starred in the David E. Kelly medical drama “Monday Mornings,” and Lifetime's powerful event movie “Babysellers,” which premiered at the United Nations, shedding light on the atrocities of the baby trafficking trade. In 2017, Finnigan starred in the Hallmark Channel Original movie “Walking the Dog.”
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Finnigan speaks fluent French. She currently resides in Los Angeles, with her husband, actor Jonathan Silverman, and their daughter.
