TOM WERME

Lead Play-by-Play Announcer, ACC on The CW Network

​Tom Werme is the lead play-by-play announcer for Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) college football and basketball on The CW Network.

​Werme is a decorated television sports announcer who has called ACC college basketball on Raycom Sports and the Regional Sports Networks and served as a play-by-play announcer for the NCAA Final Four on Turner Sports. He has also called football and basketball games for the Big Ten Network and held similar roles within the ESPN family, Fox Sports South and Raycom Sports. Previously, Werme was the sideline reporter and the pregame/halftime/postgame host for Oklahoma City Thunder telecasts and performed the same position with the Charlotte Bobcats. He has also called games for Fox College Sports and Major League Lacrosse games for the Charlotte Hounds on ESPN3.

​Werme is a graduate of the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.
