Cam Watkins in “All American: Homecoming”
In The CW’s hit series “All American: Homecoming,” Mitchell Edwards stars as Cam Watkins, who has grown as a person and a man. He’s committed to dating Keisha (Netta Walker) and is pursuing his dreams of music even if it comes at a cost. Without his football scholarship, Cam will have to find ways to support himself at Bringston, even if that means stepping out of his comfort zone. He’ll face many new challenges and obstacles, but he’s a man who’s determined to succeed no matter what.
Edwards began his career starring in features “Roxanne, Roxanne,” produced by Forest Whitaker and Pharrell, and the Netflix film “Burning Sands,” both of which premiered at Sundance.
Edwards began appearing in a recurring role on “All American” during its inaugural season. Additionally, he was a series regular on “Spinning Out” opposite Kaya Scodelario and January Jones and had a recurring role on “The Fix.” His guest star credits include “Law & Order: SVU” and “The Rookie.”
On the film side, Edwards had a supporting role in “The First Purge” for Blumhouse and Universal.
A graduate of the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, Edwards is also a promising recording artist and trained dancer.
