Asher Adams in “All American"
In The CW’s new drama “All American,” Cody Christian stars as Asher Adams, Beverly High’s wide receiver. He’s all the talk, but also all the walk. He works hard for what he has and even harder for what he wants, so when Spencer (Daniel Ezra) shows up and threatens to take more than just catches from him, Asher will go to any length to rid Beverly High of Spencer James.
Christian was born in Bangor, Maine, and moved to Los Angeles at age 9, after hearing a radio ad searching for kids who played football to audition for a commercial. He went from short films to commercials and modeling, to television shows and then major motion pictures.
Christian’s first major role in a theatrical film was the role of Boy Cantor in “Surrogates,” opposite Bruce Willis. His performance in the challenging role of an older-aged robot manifested young Christian’s growth as an actor. Christian starred in Peter Safran’s film “The Starving Games” and recently completed the film “Assassination Nation,” as well as the title role Nick Newell in the feature film “Notorious Nick,” to be released later this year.
Christian has had several television guest starring roles on major shows such as “True Blood,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Body of Proof” as well as recurring roles on “Supah Ninjas,” “Teen Wolf” and “Pretty Little Liars.”
