Dillon James in “All American”
In The CW’s new drama “All American,” Jalyn Hall plays Dillon James who lives in a world where he’s protected by his brother, Spencer (Daniel Ezra), and nurtured by his mother, Grace (Karimah Westbrook). A fan of comic books, he’s full of insight, jokes, and backhanded compliments. He hasn’t really seen what it’s like out there, but with Spencer in Beverly Hills for most of the week, he’s about to grow up pretty quickly.
Hall has been acting professionally since 2017. The young star plays a recurring role on “Black-ish” and has guest-starred on several television shows including “Atlanta,” “Family Time,” “NCIS: LA,” “The Quad,” “Star” and “Tales.” Hall is also a dancer and model.
Hall has also made his way into the film world. Jalyn will be seen in the film “The House with a Clock in Its Walls” as Woody, alongside Jack Black and Cate Blanchett. He will also be in the action film “Shaft,” the drama “Gully” and the thriller “John Henry,” which all come to theaters in 2019.
Raised in Atlanta, Ga., Hall currently resides in Los Angeles.
