Jennifer Kassabian is an Armenian-Canadian writer and Executive Producer in the one-hour network and cable television space. She has worked on series such as: 19-2, CARTER, DEGRASSI: NEW CLASS, SAVING HOPE, FRANKIE DRAKE, RUBY AND THE WELL, HUDSON & REX, BORDERLINE and ST. PIERRE. 

Currently, she is a Co-Creator, Co-Showrunner and Executive Producer of PRIVATE EYES WEST COAST, the BC-based reboot of the Jason Priestley and Cindy Sampson Global TV series. Previously, she was the Showrunner & Executive Producer on CBC Gem’s MACY MURDOCH, a spin-off of Murdoch Mysteries that debuted Spring 2023, earning her a Canadian Screen Award nomination. 

Jennifer is active in development both in Canada and the US. She is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s PrimeTime Television Program as well as a National CTV Banff Fellow. In addition, she is active in the Armenian-Canadian arts community and serves as a member of the Writers’ Guild of Canada’s Diversity Script of the Month program, as well as a steadfast juror for the guild’s annual screenwriting awards.
